Half way through making this piece I really thought that it was a disaster and it didn't look what I had visualised.
And I was going to just give up.

But the I thought, I've spent hours on this, I'll just finish it.

And boom 💥 it turned out better than I thought!

I’m still in awe that I created a piece for Jelena and got to see her in person at the Park. Growing up watching her play tennis, I now admire her even more as an incredible and resilient person.

No surprises at all that this gem ranks in my top 5! Melbourne Cup Day was an absolute whirlwind.
To have @francesca_cumani wear one of my pillboxes was crazy.
A couple of weeks later, I caught up with my cousin, and she mentioned that everyone was chatting about hats, saying this pillbox was their favorite. It was such a thrill to hear her rave about it without knowing it was my creation! 🥳🎩

Her tears of happiness when she learned some of my creations were heading to Channel 9 with a stylist.
Mum and dad have been by myside, always there to help with childcare, assembling boxes, share their wisdom, encourage my wild ideas, and make special visits to the shop. A highlight was when Mum joined me at an event—she truly shined!

By absolute chance, I had this pillbox made and it matched the custom dress made.

I still can't believe this happened.

I found out from my sister watching at home, and i missed her phone call - luckily mum answered her phone.... We all cried in excitement and disbelief.
